Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal today met successful students of Zindagi Foundation who have achieved tremendous success in NEET 2022, results of which were declared yesterday. Hailing from extremely poor families, these students overcame numerous financial and social hurdles to achieve success.

On meeting the students, the Governor expressed his delight and excitement. He urged students to think in their own way and chart a unique path to success. Knowing the hardship of students, he said that no student should be left behind in education because of a lack of money. He also assured that whenever any help is needed, he will do his best to ensure hassle-free education to these meritorious students.

Interacting with Ajay Bahadur Singh, founder of Zindagi foundation, the Governor appreciated five years of the journey which has helped 90 extremely poor students to qualify for NEET. Zindagi Foundation was conceived by educationist Ajay Bahadur Singh, better known as Ajay Sir among students. Ajay, himself wanted to become a doctor and was preparing for medical entrance. But due to his father’s illness, Ajay had to leave his studies mid way and he started earning money by selling tea and sharbat for his father’s treatment. With his hard work and dedication, when he succeeded in life as an educationist, he resolved to make meritorious and poor children like himself doctors and founded the Zindagi Foundation.
