Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government approved a modernisation plan of Tusura airstrip in Balangir district.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also sanctioned Rs 65 crore for the project, informed a release from the Chief Minister's Office today.

Worth mentioning that 5T Chairman and Nabin Odisha Charman VK Pandian had visited Balangir district on August 5. During his two-day trip to the western Odisha district, he received many proposals from people including the improvement of Tusura airstrip. He had directed the district collector for preparation of a detailed project report.

Following the report, the proposal was approved by the CM.
