Bhubaneswar: All government offices in the Odisha capital here will remain closed for half day on June 12 in view of the oath-taking ceremony of the new Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in the state.
The Revenue and Disaster Management department announced this through a notification today.
All state government offices as well as the Revenue and Magisterial Courts (Executive) within the jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will remain closed for half day from 1 pm onwards on June 12 (Wednesday) in view of the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, said the notification.
Notably, the new Chief Minister and Council of Ministers are scheduled to take oath at a ceremony at Janata Maidan in the city here on June 12.
