Odisha Govt declares holiday for schools & colleges on Dec 26

Bhubaneswar:  All schools and colleges in the state will remain closed on December 26 in view of the solar eclipse. School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed this here today.

Besides, all Government offices including revenue and magisterial courts will remain closed on December 26 in view of the solar eclipse.

Meanwhile, special arrangements has been made at several places in the state capital to help the denizens view the celestial event safely on December 26.  People can see the partial solar eclipse in morning through telescope at Pathani Samanta Planetarium here.

Worth mentioning, several parts of India will witness the solar ellipse after sunrise from 9 am to 12.29 pm.
