Odisha govt effects major reshuffle in IPS cadre

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle in the IPS cadre.

According to a Home Department notification, 1988 batch IPS Manoj Kumar Chabra is new ADG (Training) BPSPA, while 1989 batch IPS S M Narvane is new ADG OHRC.

Similarly, 1993 batch IPS Susanta Kumar Nath is the new IG (Northern Range) and 1993 batch IPS Vinayatosh Mishra is the new IG (Eastern Range).

Radha Kishan Sharma, 1995 batch IPS is the new IG (EOW) and STF, while 1996 batch IPS Arun Bothra is new IG (Railways).

Besides, 1998 batch IPS Amitabh Thakur has been appointed as the new IG (Modernization), while 1999 batch IPS Ghanshyam Upadhyay is new IG (Southern Range).

Further, Nikhil Kumar Kanodia, 2003 batch IPS has been made the new DIG (Police training) BPSPA, while 2003 batch IPS Kavita Jalan is new DIG Rourkela.

Sanjeev Arora, the 2005 batch IPS officer is the new SP Sambalpur while, 2006 batch IPS Anirudh Kumar Singh is new SP Mayurbhanj.

While 2008 batch IPS Umashankar Dash is new SP Rourkela, IPS Prakash R of the same batch is new SP Jharsuguda.

Akhileswar Singh, 2009 batch IPS officer has been posted as the new DCP of Cuttack, while IPS Brijesh Kumar Rai of the same batch is new SP of Angul.

Charan Singh Meena, the 2009 batch IPS officer has been appointed as the new SP of Jajpur, while 2010 batch IPS Mitrabhanu Mahapatra has been appointed as the new SP of Kandhamal.

While 2010 batch IPS Sarah Sharma is new Principal Police Training Institute Byree, Kanwar Vishal Singh of the same batch is the new SP of Koraput.

K Siva Subramani, the 2010 batch IPS officer is the new SP Bolangir, while Ashish Kumar Singh is the new S P of Nayagarh.

While 2011 batch IPS Pinak Mishra is the new SP of Sundargarh, Battula Gangadhar of the same batch is the new SP of  Deogarh.

Sudhanshu Sekhar Mishra, 2012 batch IPS is the new SP of Boudh, while the same batch IPS Madkar Sandeep Sampat is the new SP Kalahandi.

While 2013 batch IPS Anupama James is the new DCP (HQs) Bhubaneswar, same batch IPS Rahul PRhas been appointed as the new SP of Rayagada.

Smith P Parmar, 2013 batch IPS has been appointed as the new SP of Nuapada, while the same batch IPS Jagmohan Meena is new SP of Malkangiri.

While 2013 batch IPS Mukesh Kumar Bhamoo is the new SP Nawarangpur, OPS officer Dipti Ranjan Ray has been appointed as the is new SP of Khurda.
