Odisha govt effects major reshuffle in police ranks

The Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle in the police ranks of the state.

According to a Home department notification, Kavita Jalan has been appointed as Cuttack DCP while K Vishal Singh has been made the new S P Nayagarh.

Similarly, Sanjeev Arora is the new S P Angul, while S S Mishra is the new S P Nabarangpur, Manoranjan Mohanty is appointed as the new S P Khurda and Rajesh Pandit has been appointed as the new Keonjhar S P.

While Pinak Mishra is the new S P of Kandhamal, M S Sampat is the new S P of Nuapada, Ashish Kumar Singh is the new S P of Balangir, Satyajit Nayak is appointed as the new S P of STF and R Prakash is new SP Mayurbhanj.

Besides, Madhab Chandra Sahu has been appointed as S P of Cuttack (Rural) and Yugal Kishore Banoth has been made the S P of Bargarh.

While J N Pankaj has been appointed as the new S P of Jagatsinghpur, Sudha Singh is new S P Vigilance and Dr Deepak Kumar has been made the new AIG State Police headquarters.

B K Panigrahi has been appointed as the new S P of Dhenkanal,  Dilip Kumar Das is new S P Bhadrakh  and  Sushil Panigrahi is the new S P Gajapati.
