Odisha govt effects minor reshuffle in IAS cadre

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre.

According to a General Administration Department source, 1993 batch IAS officer Nikunja Bihari Dhal has been appointed as the new Resident Commissioner of the state in New Delhi.

Similarly, 2004 batch IAS officer Bishnu Charan Prusty has been appointed as the new Additional Secretary of Home Department, while 2005 batch IAS officer Rajesh Prabhakar Patil is the new Director Employment and CEO Skill Development Authority.

Besides, 2005 batch IAS Prasanna Kumar Jena is the new Managing Director of Odisha State Financial Corporation (OSFC) and 2006 batch IAS officer Kabir Kissan is the new Commissioner Consolidation.

Further, 2006 batch IAS officer Suresh Chandra Dalai has been appointed as the new Mission Director of Odisha Urban Housing Mission.
