The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in the IPS cadre.

According to a Home department notification, senior IPS officer Lalit Das currently posted in the department as Special Secretary has been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG). He will, however, continue in his current post.

Similarly, senior IPS officer Bijayananda Jha currently posted as ADG (Law & Order) will hold additional charge of ADG (Communications).
