Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today included more departments under the critical and partially critical categories in view of COVID-19 management.
Critical departments are as follows:
Agriculture & FE, Co-operation, F&ARD, FS&CW, GA&PG, H&UD, Health & Family Welfare, Home, Labour & ESI, PR&DW, R&DM (SRC & OSDMA).
Offices of critical category departments in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack will function with up to 50% of manpower. The government order said administrative departments will decide about the scale of operation in field offices.
Partially Critical departments are as follows:
C&T, E&lT, Energy, Finance, Forest & Environment, l&PR, Odisha State Pollution Control Board, Revenue, SC &ST Development, SSEPD, Steel & Mines, Works and W&CD and MS.
Offices of these departments will function with up to 10% of manpower. Administrative Departments will decide about the scale of operation in the field offices, the order stated.
For remaining departments employees need not attend office. However, they will be available at short notice. Also they will monitor/ supervise over phone the work related to their departments in the field. Administrative Departments will decide about the scale of operation in the field offices, it added.
All the State government employees, who are not attending office, have been asked to work from home.
