Odisha Govt issues guidelines for management of TMCs, quarantine centres

Bhubaneswar:  While the state Government has made it mandatory for people returning from other states to remain under quarantine in temporary medical camps (TMCs) set up in the state, the task of managing the centres has been assigned to respective Gram Panchayats (GPs) and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).

They have been instructed to follow three principles-privacy, safety and dignity at the facilities. Besides, they have been asked to ensure that discrimination of any sort is not practised, promoted or tolerated in the camps. Social distancing and personal hygiene being the only known method to break the chain of spread of COVID-19 infection, camp manager will ensure that it is meticulously observed both by the inmates and service personnel.

Besides, the Government has issued following guidelines to be followed for smooth management of TMCs and quarantine centres in the state.
