Odisha govt promoted Sarathi Baba’s ashram as tourist site!

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Aug 7:

Much as it would like to pretend that it had nothing to do with Sarathi Baba, the Odisha government actively promoted the now infamous self-proclaimed godman putting up a signboard near the Kendrapara town leading to the ashram and promoting it as a tourist destination.

The signboard shows the direction and distance to Srimad Sarathi Mandir, which is the ashram of Sarathi Baba at Barimul, at Tinimuhani square on the outskirts of the Kendrapara town.

Interestingly, the signage board had Odisha Tourism logo on the top corner of it.

Now the question arises, if the government had not put up the board, then why did it allow someone else use the Tourism department’s logo on it? If someone else has done it mischievously, then why has the government not taken action against those involved?

With every passing day, trouble seems to be mounting for the controversial godman over his alleged escapade with a woman companion at a Hyderabad-based star hotel.
