Odisha govt readies new industrial policy

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, June 16:

In order to overcome industrial bottlenecks, the Odisha government has initiated the process for implementation of a new Industrial Policy Regulation (IPR) in the state.

The state government has sought the opinion from various departments in this regard.

The Industries department has also informed the industries that it would apprise them of the details after the preparation of its draft IPR.

This was revealed at a high level review meeting presided over by Industry secretary Vishal Dev at the State Secretariat here this afternoon.

“Preparations are on for a new IPR for the state. We have presented the new IPR to various departments seeking their valuable feedback. After incorporating these feedbacks, we will circulate the revised IPR to all industrial associations,” Dev told reporters after the meeting.
