Odisha Govt sanctions more funds to 3 districts for COVID Management

Bhubaneswar: In view of devastating situation due to COVID-19 in second wave across Odisha, the State Government sanctioned an additional amount of over Rs 7.50 crore to three districts from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for COVID management.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved sanction of an additional fund of Rs 7,62,80,692 for Puri, Subarnapur and Sambalpur districts.

While an additional fund of Rs 2 crore was sanctioned for Puri district, Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned for Subarnapur district and Rs 4,62,80,692 for Sambalpur district, Chief Minister’s Office said in a release today.

Earlier, the CM had released an amount of Rs 14,59,74,408 for Puri district, Rs 2.50 crore for Subarnapur district and Rs 11.50 crore for Sambalpur district.

With this additional release, Puri district has now received a total amount of Rs 16,59,74,408, Subarnapur district Rs 3.50 crore and total release from CMRF to Sambalpur district has become Rs 16,12,80,692.
