Odisha Govt sanctions Rs 1 lakh for singer Tapu Mishra's treatment

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Culture Department has sanctioned Rs 1 lakh in favour of popular singer Tapu Mishra for her treatment.

The fund will be released from the Artist Welfare Fund.

Recently, Mishra tested positive for COVID-19 and was under home isolation. She was later admitted to a private hospital here after her condition deteriorated. Currently, she is undergoing treatment in ICU of the hospital.

Worth mentioning, her father had died of COVID-19 on May 10 this year.
