Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has introduced several measures for the development of infrastructure at Rajdhani College in the capital city here.

The government has sanctioned Rs 37 crore for the construction of a new academic block at the college. The new academic block will solve the issue of shortage of classrooms at the institute, said Principal (in-charge) Arun Kumar Samal.

“The R&B division will start the construction work for the new academic block within a few days. The new building will have three floors,” added the Principal.

According to Samal, Rajdhani College is providing education to around 3,000 students in various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.
