Puri: The state government in Odisha will bring an advanced policy for farmers within 100 days, informed Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today.
While interacting with villagers during his first-ever visit to Suando village - the birthplace of Utkal Mani Gopabandhu Das - after assuming the office of Chief Minister yesterday, he said that the promises made in the BJP's poll manifesto for Odisha are the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All the promises will be fulfilled soon.
"The state government will bring an 'advanced farmers policy' within 100 days to address many issues of farmers in Odisha," the new CM assured the villagers.
After opening all four gates of the Jagannath Temple in Puri in the morning, CM Mohan Majhi accompanied by his cabinet colleagues including two Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida and elected representatives visited Suando village in the district to offer tribute to Pandit Gopabandhu Das. They met the locals and discussed with them to know their issues. The team assured them to keep promises made in party's manifesto.
