Odisha: Govt to build bridge over Kharasrota river in Kendrapara

Bhubaneswar: The state government will construct a high level bridge over Kharasrota river on Nua Bazar-Balitara ghat road in Kendrapara district of Odisha.

The Odisha Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved a tender worth Rs 97.24 crore for the bridge project, said Chief Secretary PK Jena.

A target has been set to complete the project within a span of 30 months.

The said bridge will provide all-weather connectivity between Aul and Rajkanika block of Kendrapara district, said the Chief Secretary.

The project will also boost road communication between Kendrapara and Chandabali area of Bhadrak district.
