Odisha govt to provide rebate on advance payment of holding tax

Bhubaneswar: In view of the pandemic situation due to COVID-19, the Odisha government today decided to provide five percent rebate on advance payment of holding tax for the whole year of 2020-21.

In an order, the Housing and Urban Development Department stated the five percent rebate will be provided under section 257 of the OMC Act, 2003 on advance payment of the holding tax.

The order further stated the rebate can be availed if the holding tax is paid on or before August 31, 2020.
