Bhubaneswar: General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) department today effected a brief reshuffle in the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre. Accordingly, four senior OAS officers were withdrawn from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), a notification issued in this regard mentioned.
The officers reverted to the GA&PG department with immediate effect are Special Secretary Lala Manoj Kumar Ray, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Rabindra Kumar Sethi, Additional Secretary with additional charge of Additional Secretary to Government, Sports & Youth Services department Subhranshu Mishra, and Joint Secretary Manoj Kumar Swain.
The officers concerned were directed to report the GA&PG department for their further posting.
Worth mentioning, the State government’s Home Department earlier removed as many as 22 Odisha Secretariat Service (OSS) cadre officers from the CMO.
Bureaucratic reshuffles are going on following the formation of the new BJP government in Odisha. The saffron party secured a simple majority in the recently concluded polls to the Legislative Assembly.
