Odisha Guv appoints Prof. Kamal Kanta Mishra as the new VC of UUC

Prof. Kamal Kanta Mishra was today appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture (UUC) by Odisha Governor S C Jamir.

According to an official release issued by the Raj Bhawan Prof. Mishra was selected for the prestigious post from among three candidates through personal interview.

Prof. Mishra is currently serving as the Dean, School of Social Sciences at the University of Hyderabad.

He has been appointed for a period of three years from the date of his joining or till he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier until further orders, the release said.
