The High Court issued the order while conducting a hearing on public interest litigation (PIL) on Jagamohana repair.

The ASI in consonance with the High Court’s earlier order during the course of the hearing today submitted a status report on the progress made in the repair of the Jagamohana.

In the status report, the ASI has stated that 80 percent of the repairs have been completed and a five-member committee of experts has been formed to supervise it.

However, the High Court directed the ASI to submit the facts through a sworn affidavit.

The state’s highest court while directing the SJTA and Puri Collector to file their replies on the status report through affidavits has fixed the next date of hearing in the matter for August 3.
