The Orissa High Court today expressed concern and resentment over the inordinate delay plaguing the repair of the Jagamohana of Sri Jagannath temple in Odisha’s holy town Puri.
The High Court directed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to submit latest status report of the repair through a fresh affidavit.
Further, the High Court directed the ASI Superintendent to appear before it in person before the court and keep his side on the matter.
The next hearing in the matter will be held on November 17.
