However, the High Court in its ruling made it clear that it would not interfere in the technical aspects of the repair work.

The High Court issued the ruling while conducting a hearing on a PIL in connection with Jagamohana repair.

On the other hand, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) today submitted before the High Court through an affidavit that repair work of four columns of the Jagamohana has been completed. The affidavit further stated that repair work will be completed within the earlier determined date.

The High Court directed the ASI to submit a status report to it by October 31 on the progress made in the repair work.

The next date for hearing in the matter has been fixed for November 4.
