Cuttack: The Orissa High Court today rejected bail application of noted industrialist and Managing Director of Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) Mahimananda Mishra in connection with Mahendra Swain murder case.

Similarly, the Supreme Court, on November 12, had rejected the bail pea of Mishra in the same case.

The apex court on September 18 had rejected the bail granted to Mishra by the Orissa High Court and ordered to take him into custody.

It may be recalled here that Mishra was arrested from Thailand for allegedly masterminding the murder of Mahendra Swain, a top executive of Hyderabad-based stevedoring company Seaways Shipping and Logistics Limited (SSLL), in broad daylight on October 26, 2016, in Paradip.
