Odisha HC suspends ensuing summer vacation of courts

Cuttack: In view of COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown order, the Orissa High Court today decided to suspend ensuing summer vacation of courts in Odisha this year.

In a notification, the High Court said it took the decision to suspend its summer vacation after consultation with the Advocate General, Odisha and the President, Vice President and Secretary of the Orissa High Court Bar Association. The suspension of summer vacation will be in force, if the lockdown is not extended beyond May 3, the notification added.

Also, the HC suspended the summer vacation of Sub Ordinate Courts of the Stat.
