Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has permitted higher education institutions in the state to open laboratories for research scholars (Ph.D.), M. Phil. students and post-graduate students in science and technology streams.
Higher Education Department Secretary Saswat Mishra today wrote a letter in this regard to vice-chancellors of all public universities and principals of all government and non-government colleges.
"Higher Education Institutions are permitted to open laboratories only for Research Scholars (Ph.D.), M. Phil. students and Post-Graduate students in science and technology streams requiring laboratory/experimental work, by following appropriate COVID-19 precautions," Mishra wrote in the letter and asked to take necessary action immediately in this regard.
