Odisha: Holi celebrations turn tragic as 3 of family drown in river

Sambalpur: Tragedy struck a family of Sambalpur district after three members of its family, including two kids, drowned while taking bath in Kherual river under Thelkuli police limits yesterday.

The incident came to fore after their bodies were recovered from the water body this morning.

Though the deceased were identified, the trio- a man, his son and daughter, had gone to the river to take bath after celebrating Holi. The three later slipped into deep water and swept away by the water current.
