Litu alias Narendranath Das, one of the accused in the sensational murder of Puri hotelier-cum-lawyer Chandan Behera, surrendered at the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court here today.

Till date eight persons including Chandan’s wife Nibedita have been arrested by the police in connection with the murder.

Litu was absconding after Chandan’s brutal murder in front of his hotel on January 8.

Puri SP Sarthak Sarangi after arresting Nibedita and four others on Monday had told reporters that she was the main conspirator and had hatched a conspiracy with Litu to kill her hotelier husband and acquire his property.
