Cuttack, May 11:
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) uploaded the scanned copy of OMR answer sheets of this year’s annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations today.
Informing this to the media, BSE president Prof Dakshya Prasad Nanda said the students can download their OMR sheets from the two websites after 2 PM.
The two websites where the OMR answer sheets would be uploaded are www.prestigeresults.in and www.knowyourresult.com .
“The students can see their marks after feeding their roll number in these two websites. If there is any mistake in the OMR sheets, they can apply for readdition or rechecking. The rechecking of subjective papers would begin from tomorrow for which the Board has made elaborate arrangements”, Nanda said.
He said unlike previous years, the students need not come to the office to apply for rechecking of their subjective papers as they can apply online from tomorrow.
The students will have to deposit Rs 50 for rechecking of each OMR paper and Rs 60 for each subjective paper and Rs 150 for a photo copy of each paper. After applying online, they will have to download a challan form from the internet and deposit the amount in the State Bank of India after mentioning their name, mobile number, roll number and the number of papers they want for rechecking in the challan form. After submitting the fees and challan to the SBI, the latter will provide a journal number to the students who will have to mention this number in the form before sending it online to the Board website www.bseodisha.nic.in .
Nanda said the students, while apply for rechecking and readdition, will have to log on to www.prestigeresults.in/recheking from where they can know the detail procedures and instructions.
He said the rechecking and re-addition would continue till midnight of May 19.
The Board will send the rechecked marks the the scanned copies of the paper in the mail id of the students within three months, the BSE president said.
Referring to the despatch of marksheets and certificates of the students, he said the Board which had earlier announced that it would start process from May 15, has now decided to delay the process by 2-3 days.
“As all marksheets and certificates are being laminated with holograms by a private firm, it will take a couple of days to complete the process after which they will be sent to the respectives schools from where the students can collect them”, Nanda pointed out.
