Odisha HSC students to get ‘Parikhya Darpan’ guide book free ahead of exams

Bhubaneswar: In view of difficulties being faced by students to cover entire syllabus after reopening of schools, the State Government decided to provide examination guide book for free of cost to students, who will appear in the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination 2021.

The Question-cum-Answer book ‘Parikhya Darpan’ will be supplied to all students of the Government/Government Aided/Private schools free of cost, a notification by School & Mass Education stated today.

As per the notification, Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) will bear the cost of paper and printing of the books.

The manuscript of the book has been prepared by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) and the Text Book Production & Marketing (TBP&M) will print the book on priority basis. The steps will be taken by the TBP&M for distribution of copies to DEOs in consultation with BSE, Odisha.

In this regard, the OSEPA has directed all the District Education Officers (DEOs) to submit the enrolment figure of Class X students in a prescribed format by January 22. Accordingly the books will be printed and supplied to the students.
