Odisha HSC Supplementary exam begins

Cuttack, June 17:

The High School Certificate (HSC) supplementary examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), began in Odisha today.

About 22,000 students are appearing the exam in 143 centres that have been chosen as the nodal centres.

The examination, with one sitting each day- from 9 AM to 11.30 AM – will continue till June 23.

BSE has entrusted the safety of the question papers to the district collectors and superintendents of police.

Evaluation of answer sheets would begin from June 26 to 28 in 17 centres.

“Special emphasis is given to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination and error-free evaluation”, BSE president Dakshya Prasad Nanda informed the media.
