Odisha: Human skeleton found at beach near Ramachandi

Puri: A human skeleton was found at beach near Kushabhadra estuary of Ramachandi under Chandrabhaga Marine police limits in Odisha’s Puri district.

Police have seized the skeletal remains and sent it for autopsy.

According to reports, some residents of Gadabangara village had yesterday gone to a nearby forest, during which they spotted the skeleton at the beach.

On being informed by them, police reached the place, recovered it and started an investigation.

It was yet to be ascertained whether it’s a case of murder or drowning in the sea.

All police stations of Puri district have been apprised about the incident while the skeleton will be kept for 96 hours for the purpose of any possible identification of the deceased, police sources said.
