Bhubaneswar: The state government has shifted senior IAS officer Roopa Roshan Sahoo from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in Odisha.
Roopa Roshan, a 2006-batch IAS officer, was serving as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to ST&SC Development, Minorities and Backward classes Welfare Department in the state.
The state government has shifted Roopa Roshan from the CMO and posted her as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the ST&SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, said a notification issued by the General Administration Department today.
Roopa Roshan had been appointed as the Special Secretary to then Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during the BJD rule in Odisha.
