Odisha: Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant donates huge sums to Jagannath temple
Bhubaneswar: Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant, who visited the Jagannath temple at Odisha’s Puri town yesterday, has donated huge sums to the 12th century shrine.
Anant, on behalf of the Reliance Industries Limited, has donated Rs 2.51 crore through a cheque to Jagannath temple and received a receipt in this regard from the shrine administration.
He made the donation for the repair and renovation of Jagannath temple.
Anant, who recently got engaged to Radhika Merchant, had arrived in Odisha yesterday.
He was escorted to the Holy Town of Puri amid tight security soon after his arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here.
Anant offered prayers before Lord Jagannath and his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra before leaving the Holy Town.
