Balangir: International woman cricketer from Odisha Rasanara Parwin and her mother have tested positive for COVID-19.

The mother-daughter duo was admitted to Balangir COVID Hospital yesterday. The sportsperson said her mother was suffering from fever and the woman's swab sample was later collected for RT-PCR COVID-19 test.

Before the arrival of the test result, Rasanara also developed fever-like symptoms and underwent antigen test. Both Rasanara and her mother tested positive for the virus.

The cricketer's condition was stable though she complained of mild headache and fever.
