Odisha: Jagannath Temple gets new Chief Administrator

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today appointed a new Chief Administrator for Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri.

Ranjan Kumar Das (IAS), Special Secretary to Odia Language Literature and Culture department with additional charge of Director Odia Language Literature and Culture, has been appointed as the Chief Administrator of SJTA, said a notification issued by the General Administration department today.

Das has replaced IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav as the SJTA Chief Administrator.

The post of SJTA Chief Administrator has been made equivalent to the post of Special Secretary in the state government, added the notification.

Srikanta Prusty (IAS), Special Secretary to Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts department, has been appointed as Special Secretary to Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water department.

Dilip Routrai (IAS), OSD to Chief Secretary, has been appointed as the Director of Odia Language Literature and Culture department.

The post of Director, Odia Language Literature and Culture department, has been declared equivalent to the status of Joint Secretary in Odisha government, said the notification.
