Odisha: Jagatsinghpur MLA tests COVID positive

Bhubaneswar: Jagatsinghpur MLA Prasanta Muduli has tested positive for COVID-19, the legislator informed today.

After developing symptoms, Muduli went for COVID-19 test yesterday and has tested positive for the virus, he said.

The MLA is currently under home isolation while his condition was stable. He has urged those who came in contact with him recently to undergo COVID-19 test.

Earlier, Bhubaneswar (North) legislator Susant Rout, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda, Chandbali MLA Byomakesh Ray, Baramba MLA Debi Prasad Mishra, Pottangi MLA Pritam Padhi, Bhadrak MLA Sanjib Mallick, Khandapada MLA and Editor of ‘Sambad’ Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Bari MLA Sunanda Das, Polasara MLA Srikant Sahu, Remuna MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar Parida and Salepur MLA Prasant Behera had tested positive for the virus.
