Odisha: JE-Civil main examination cancelled

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has cancelled the main written examination for JE (Civil) conducted on July 16 as part of Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination 2022.

A fresh main written examination for JE (Civil) will be conducted on September 3, said the Staff Selection Commission in a notification today.

It has been decided to cancel the main written examination for JE (Civil) on the basis of a report of Balasore SP in connection with a case registered at Sahadev Khunta police station on July 16 and in accordance with the Clause 11 of detailed advertisement for Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination-2022 for Group-B state cadre posts in different offices under the state government, said the notification.

The main written examination of JE (Civil) was cancelled amid allegations of question paper leak, said a source.
