The junior women’s team of Hockey Gangpur left for Mysore last night to participate in the 4th Hockey India Junior Women's National Championship to be held from March 5 to 23.

A total of 32 teams would participate in the championship that will be played on a league cum knockout basis with 16 teams each in Division A and B.
The Division B matches would be played from March 5 to 13 while Division A matches would be played from March 15 to 23.
The Odisha team, which will be taking part for the first time, is placed in Division B.
