Odisha: Judge Subash Kumar Behari found dead at official quarters in Cuttack

Cuttack: A Judge of a Special POCSO Court was found dead at his official quarters in CDA Sector-9 area of Odisha’s Cuttack city, today.

The deceased was identified as Justice Subash Kumar Behari (49). He was declared dead at a private hospital here.

Though the reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that he died by suicide.

Police have recovered the body and started an investigation into the incident.

According to reports, Justice Behari had gone on leave since Wednesday and was to join today. However, he telephoned and informed about extension of the leave by one more day.

Shockingly, he was found unconscious at his residence, later in the day. He was rushed to the private hospital, where doctor declared him dead.

The legal luminary, who hailed from Jajpur, is survived by his wife and two daughters.
