Odisha Judge Subash Kumar Behari’s death: Postmortem reveals cause

Cuttack: In the latest development in the POCSO Court Judge Subash Kumar Behari death case, the postmortem report revealed that he died due to hanging.

The authorities of SCB Medical College and Hospital, where the autopsy was conducted, submitted the postmortem report to the Markat Nagar police, today.

Justice Subash Kumar Behari (49) was found dead at his official quarters in CDA Sector-9 here on September 2. He was declared dead at a private hospital in the city.

On the other hand, his mother has filed an FIR with the police alleging that he was murdered by his wife Aparajita Ray and her cousin Sarbajeet Ray, who used to stay with him.

“My son was being tortured physically and mentally by his wife and her cousin. After his death, I had noticed injury marks on my son’s neck, chest and belly. We suspect that his wife and her cousin hanged the body after killing him,” the elderly woman said.
