Odisha: Justice Raghubir Dash appointed acting chairperson of OHRC

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal has appointed Justice Raghubir Dash, retired judge of the Orissa High court, as acting Chairperson of the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC).

The Governor of Odisha is pleased to authorise Justice Raghubir Dash, former judge of the Orissa High court, Member, Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) to act as the Chairperson of such Commission with immediate effect until appointment of a regular chairperson, a Law Department notification said.

In December last year, Dash was appointed as member of the Rights body.
