Odisha: Kansa fines Bargarh Transport official during Dhanu Yatra

Bargarh: Demon king Kansa fined the Bargarh Transport official for irregularities at the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) on the second day of Bargarh Dhanu Yatra today.

During his ‘Nagar Parikrama’, Kansa reached the OSRTC office and inspected the work there. Finding some irregularities, the demon king fined the Transport official two lakh gold coins.

Citing that he is aware of inconvenience faced by passengers especially women at the Bargarh bus stand due to absence of a toilet, Kansa directed the concerned officials to address the issue at the earliest.

This apart, Kansa directed two-wheeler drivers to wear helmets when he noticed some motorists flouting the traffic rules during his ‘Nagar Parikrama’. He also gifted the motorcyclists who were wearing helmets.

Emphasising on the need for motorists to follow traffic rules, Kansa ordered car drivers to wear seat belts. The demon king said strict action will be taken against those car drivers who do not follow the order on seat belt and advocated for death penalty for the drunk drivers.

He also ordered the passengers to buy ticket while travelling in a bus.
