Odisha: Labourer dies of electrocution, two others injured

Sunabeda: A labourer was killed and two others injured after coming in contact with live wire while placing an electric pole in Dasputa village under Lamtaputa block in Koraput district today.

The deceased has been identified as Laxman Khara (30) of Kumbharaguda village under Sunabeda police station.

As per reports, Laxman along with some other labourers were placing an electric pole to provide power connection to the village. Accidentally the pole touched with a live wire leading to the death of one labourer while two others sustained injuries.

The injured, Durjya Khara and Santosh Kumar were rushed to the hospital.

After receiving information, police registered an unnatural death case and began probe.
