Odisha: Last date of application for Plus II Admission extended to June 26; details here

Bhubaneswar: The last date for online submission of Common Application Form (CAF) through Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Portal: www.samsodisha.gov.in for Admission to Plus II Courses in Odisha higher secondary schools was extended today to June 26.

The decision was taken by School and Mass Education (S&ME) department keeping in mind the requests of students, parents and school Heads concerned. Previously, the last date for online application was scheduled for June 20, a press release issued in this regard mentioned.

As per the official communiqué, the rescheduled date for the release of the First Merit List is July 2, 2023. Accordingly, the First Phase of Admission will begin on July 3 and continue till July 8.

Similarly, the Second Merit List will be published on July 16 and the Admission process will be completed by July 19. Moreover, the process for Admission based on online spot selection will begin on July 17 and end on July 27, the press release read.

The classes for Class XI students will start from the previously scheduled date i.e on July 29, 2023.

Notably, 4,45,887 candidates have applied for Admission to Plus II Courses through SAMS, so far.

Online applications are invited through SAMS Odisha for Admission to Plus II Arts, Science, Commerce, Upashastri and Vocational courses in Higher Secondary Schools affiliated with CHSE.
