Odisha Legislator clears Class 10 exam

Bhubaneswar: As the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha today declared the Class 10 exam results, BJD legislator from Phulbani, Angada Kanhar was left on cloud nine. Reason, Kanhar passed the Class 10 exam successfully. He has secured 364 marks or 72% in the exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

The 58-year-old legislator was elected on a BJD ticket in 2019 general elections from the Phulbani Assembly seat in Kandhamal district.

As per the Class 10 results announced by the board, the pass percentage was 90.55% i.e. a total of 5,17,847 students have cleared the exam.

The board further stated as many as 5,71,909 lakh students from 8,925 schools had filled up the forms whereas 5,26,818 had appeared in the exam.

The results also showed girl students have outshone boy students with pass percentage at 92.37%. The pass percentage of boys was 88.77%.

Total 1,170 schools have scored cent percent results.
