Odisha likely to reel under heat wave condition from March 30 to April 1

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to sizzle under heat wave conditions from March 30 to April 1, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted today.

It further predicted that there will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next two days over the districts of Odisha. It will gradually rise by 2 to 3°C at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha during the subsequent 2 to 3 days.

Below is day-wise forecast in connection with the heat wave:

Heat wave condition likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Boudh, Sonepur and Bolangir on March 30.

Heat wave condition likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Boudh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Angul and Sambalpur on March 31.

Heat wave condition likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Boudh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Angul and Sambalpur on April 1.
