Odisha logs 10,856 fresh COVID cases; Khordha highest at 3,087

Bhubaneswar: With 10,856 fresh infections detected in last 24 hours, Odisha’s total COVID-19 caseload today further surged to 11,22,735, including 61, 809 active cases.

Of the total fresh cases, 6293 were quarantine cases and  the remaining are local contacts.

The fresh infectees include 1,021 in 0-18 years age group, informed State Information and Public Relation (I&PR) Department.

Khordha district registered a major spike of 3,087 fresh cases, followed by Sundargarh (1,943) and Cuttack (909).
