Odisha logs 1703 new COVID-19 cases with 2.16% TPR, 69 more die

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 1703 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours while a total of 78740 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 2.16%.

Khurda district registered highest 386 new infections, followed by Cuttack (240) and Kendrapada (149).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 972517 with 17411 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 69 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 5703. Sundargarh district recorded highest 14 fatalities.
