On Friday, Lalit Majhi came to state excise office at Rangadipa to give Mohan Kumar Bhoi Rs.3500/. But when he enquired  in the office, he came to know that there is no one  by the name in the excise office. Having realised that he had been cheated, he lodged an FIR in Town police station.

When Lalit Majhi informed police about his call, the town police team led by IIC P.K.Jena went near the court. As Lalit Majhi handed over Rs.3500/- to Mohan Kumar Bhoi, the police team nabbed him.
